Rachel Tomlinson

My job in school is headteacher – a role that is an honour and a privilege.

It is my privilege to be a duty bearer for the rights of children. This is important to me because the seeds we plant now will bear fruit for all of our futures. We need to provide a context for children to create good habits so they can get on with doing good human doings and being good human beings.

I love working at Barrowford School because the community is incredible and teaches me so much every day.

My family & friends would use the following three words to describe me: radical, individual and loving.
