At Barrowford School, pupil voice is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child has the right to be heard, to express their opinions, and to actively participate in shaping their learning and school community. By empowering our students to understand their rights and use their voices, we help them realise the impact they can have on the world around them. Through regular opportunities for students to share ideas, make decisions, and lead initiatives, we foster a sense of ownership and responsibility. Whether it’s through our Pupil Leaders of Change (PLOC), public forums, feedback sessions, or other platforms for expression, pupil voice is not just encouraged—it’s integral to our approach. We are committed to creating a school environment where children feel confident in advocating for themselves, their peers, and their community, making Barrowford a place where every voice matters.
