My name is Lacey.

My role in school is an Year 3 Intervener.

It is my privilege to be a duty bearer for the rights of children. This is important to me because every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and supported as they grow and learn. By upholding their rights, I help create an environment where they can reach their full potential, express themselves freely, and develop confidence in who they are. It is a responsibility I take seriously, as the experiences and care children receive today shape the adults they will become

I love working at Barrowford School because of the different children and families we meet and help. I enjoy working here because of the way we care for the children; we see them as a whole and meet all of the needs that they may have. Working at Barrowford School is something that I love because every day is a different day, the children are able to be themselves and they are not confined to fit the “norm”.  We are like one big happy family.

Three words my family and friends would use to describe me are kind, caring and honest.
