Abigail Stansfield

My name is Abigail Stansfield.

My role in school is EYFS/Year 1 teacher.

It is my privilege to be a duty bearer for the rights of children. This is important to me because I truly believe that children thrive when they feel safe, are healthy and happy and hold valued, trusting relationships. It is an honour to be a part of a child’s journey within a Rights Respecting School.

I love working at Barrowford because all children and adults are seen, heard and truly valued. It feels like a second family.

Three words my family and friends would use to describe me are kind, welcoming and dedicated.
