Our Commitment to Inclusion and Accessibility

At Barrowford Primary School, our values reflect our unwavering commitment to maintaining high expectations for everyone. We provide children with high-quality learning opportunities, enabling each child to achieve their fullest potential.

We believe that everyone in our school community is important and included. Our ethos is built on care and trust, fostering a sense of belonging and value for every individual. We are dedicated to ensuring that no child goes unseen, celebrating the uniqueness and success of every member of our community.

At Barrowford, we embrace learning in all its forms and are committed to nurturing lifelong learners. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment that builds children’s confidence and self-esteem, recognising that happy, secure children are more likely to thrive and succeed.

This Accessibility Plan has been developed in compliance with the current legislation outlined in Schedule 10 of the Equality Act 2010, which relates to disability. The School Governors are responsible for overseeing the implementation, review, and progress of this plan within the prescribed timeframe.
