Supporting Your Child in Difficult Times

At Barrowford School, we are proud to be part of Operation Encompass, a scheme that helps us support children who may be affected by domestic abuse at home.

This initiative works by having the police notify us—before the start of the school day—if they have been called to an incident involving one of our children. This ensures we can offer the right support when it is needed most.

Our role is to:

• Provide a safe and understanding environment for your child.
• Offer emotional support and reassurance.
• Help them focus on their learning and wellbeing during the school day.

We handle this information with care, ensuring it remains confidential and is only shared with those who need to support your child effectively.
