School Opening Hours

There is a private breakfast and after school club which is run on site.  Please contact The Hive for more information.

Our school opens its gates at 8.45am and the school day finishes at 3.30pm. This is 33.75 hours.

The compulsory time for our school is 9:00am to 3.30pm.  If your child arrives after 9am, please report to the school office so your child can be marked in the register.

This equates 32 hours and 30 minutes.

Teaching Hours Morning:

• 8:45am: School gates open for all classes
• 8:50am: Children come into school; early morning learning
• 9:00am: Register
• 9:00am: – 11:45am Teaching sessions for EYFS, Year 1, Year 4
• 9:00am: – 12:00pm Teaching sessions for Year 2, Year 5, Year 6
• 9:00am: – 1:15pm Teaching sessions for Year 3

All children in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 have a 15 minute morning break.

Teaching Hours Afternoon:

• 11:45am – 12:45pm: Lunch Break for EYFS/Year 1, Year 4
• 12:00pm – 1:00pm: Lunch Break for Year 2, Year 5, Year 6
• 12:15pm – 1:15pm: Lunch Break for Year 3
• 11:45pm – 3:30pm: Teaching sessions for EYFS, Year 1, Year 4
• 1:00pm – 3:30pm: Teaching sessions for Year 2, Year 3, Year 6
• 1:15pm – 3:30pm: Teaching sessions for Year 3

All children in EYFS, KS1 have a 15 minute afternoon break. KS2 have a short afternoon break.

• Wednesday: I wonder Wednesday | Singing Practice 2:30pm
• Thursday: Lyfta
