A Journey Through Barrowford Primary School

At Barrowford Primary School, we celebrate a journey of growth and discovery, guided by the principles of Agape—unconditional love and kindness—and Sonder, the deep realisation that every individual has a unique story. From the nurturing foundations of EYFS and Year 1 to the development of curiosity and confidence in Year 2, our pupils progress through a rich and dynamic curriculum. Each stage—Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, and culminating in Year 6—builds on these values, fostering compassion, individuality, and a sense of community as our children prepare to embrace the wider world. These guiding principles mean so much to us that they are also the names of our 2 SEND units in school.
